Step 1
Launch AnyTrans and plug in your device via USB (or via Wi‑Fi if configured)
Step 2
In AnyTrans, choose Photos, Videos, Contacts, Messages, or Files — I start with the largest item list (usually photos).
Step 3
Click To Mac in AnyTrans and pick a destination folder .
Step 4
Use AnyTrans’s Backup Manager to create a full or incremental backup . I do this weekly to keep memories and settings safe.
Step 5
After transferring, I scan the Mac with CleanMyMac X to remove redundant copies, duplicates, and caches that built up during sync.
Step 6
Sync changes back to device. If you’ve edited or reorganized files on Mac, use AnyTrans to sync back to your iPhone/iPad (e.g., updated playlists or reorganized photo albums).
