Speed up client reviews with smooth playback + timestamped notes

Client feedback usually gets messy: vague comments, missed issues, and “Can you change something around 01:12?” without context. This workflow helps me review exports cleanly, catch issues early, and keep feedback organized so revisions take minutes, not hours.

Step-by-step process

Step 1

Do the main edit in Filmage Editor and use built-in notes/comments to mark spots I want to revisit (audio pops, rough cuts, overlay alignment).

Step 2

Export a review version (lightweight format if possible) for quick playback.

Step 3

Watch the export in Elmedia Player to validate real playback performance (especially high-res files) and check color/motion issues outside the editor timeline.

Step 4

Scrub through key sections (intro hook, transitions, titles, CTA) and note exact timestamps for fixes.

Step 5

Apply revisions back in Filmage Editor using the timestamps + your internal notes so nothing gets lost.
