Sign a PDF on Mac and keep your signature secure while you're at it

Preview makes signing easy. The part most people skip is deciding which documents actually need more than that — and setting up something safer for the ones that do.

Step-by-step process

Step 1

Open the PDF in Nitro PDF Pro, click Form > Signature, and draw or import the signature — the document gets encryption and a verified record rather than a plain image dropped on the page.

Step 2

Use Nitro Sign inside Nitro PDF Pro to invite recipients by email — only they can sign, and you can track when they view and complete the document without chasing anyone manually.

Step 3

Drop the signed PDF into PDF Squeezer, choose a compression preset, and export — keeps the file light for email without affecting the signature or any sensitive content.
