Capture, copy, and paste faster

I use this ultra-efficient combo of keyboard shortcuts and Setapp apps to speed up both personal and work tasks. With just a few keys, I can capture images, extract text, and paste everything from clipboard history — all without switching tabs endlessly or losing content. It’s a workflow no built-in Mac tools can match.

Setapp Apps used
Step-by-step process

Step 1

Take a quick screenshot using CleanShot with cmd+3, cmd+4, or cmd+5, depending on what I need — full screen, area, or window.

Step 2

Extract any text from the screenshot immediately using TextSniper (cmd+t) — it recognizes text from images or video frames.

Step 3

Copy multiple items in a row (text, links, snippets) as I move through one source

Step 4

Use Paste (cmd+p as my muscle memory trick) to pull everything from clipboard history in one click

Step 5

Switch to the destination app and paste everything I need in one go — no back-and-forth, no re-copying
