Add page numbers to a PDF and make the report easy to find later

When I finish a long report, the first thing I do is add automatic page numbers so people can reference exact pages instead of scrolling forever. Then I compress the file and index it so I can find it again by keyword instead of digging through folders months later.

Step 1

Finish your report and open it in Nitro PDF Pro, then add automatic page numbers so every page is properly labeled for references and citations

Step 2

Compress the finished file with PDF Squeezer so the report stays a manageable size when you attach it to an email or upload it to a shared drive.

Step 3

Add the report to your library in PDF Search so it's indexed alongside your other documents.

Step 4

Search for it later by typing a keyword from the report instead of scrolling through folders trying to remember the file name.
